Are you an experienced construction superintendent with a passion for building educational facilities that make a difference? We’re looking for a results-driven, detail-oriented Superintendent to join our team and oversee K-12 school construction projects across the Triangle and Triad regions of North Carolina .

About the Role:

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of field operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be a key team leader on-site, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to drive successful outcomes on K-12 school builds and renovations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion.
• Manage field staff and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues in real-time.
• Maintain project schedules and update look-ahead schedules regularly.
• Conduct daily job site inspections for safety, quality, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for owners and school administrators.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, ideally on K-12 or public sector projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Triangle and Triad regions.
