SALARY: 2024 – 2025 $46,578 *3rd shifts will include an additional differential NYS Retirement; Benefits; Paid time off; Yearly Increases; CSEA.

LOCATION: Saratoga Springs Central School District (SSCSD).
RESIDENCY: No residency requirement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• The following qualification(s) MUST be met and clearly detailed on the application form on or before the last filing date:
• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and possession of an appropriate level NYS Driver’s License.
• ONE (1) year of full-time paid experience in building cleaning and minor maintenance activities and possession of an appropriate level NYS Driver’s License. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Incumbents must maintain a current and valid NYS Driver’s License throughout employment with SSCSD.

 

DUTIES: 

• This is routine and repetitive manual work calling for the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. 
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed according to a well-established routine. 
• An incumbent may be responsible for the cleanliness and minor maintenance in a small school building or work under supervision of a higher-ranking employee at a larger school building. 
• Supervision may be exercised over the work of cleaners or helpers.
