Position Summary:
Most freelance copywriting jobs promise flexible income but come with overwhelming expectations: ad writing, persuasive landing pages, sales scripts, or social media campaigns that demand years of marketing experience. But what if you could start earning as a remote publishing assistant—doing structured copy and content tasks—without any prior copywriting background?
That’s exactly what this role offers.
Our client, a global nonfiction Kindle publishing brand, is expanding their remote workforce and seeking new team members to help produce and publish nonfiction eBooks. You won’t be writing promotional copy. Instead, you’ll use copywriting frameworks to craft product descriptions, apply prewritten headlines, optimize metadata, and structure nonfiction book content using AI tools and Kindle-ready templates. No selling, no cold pitching, no writing ads. Just follow the system, complete projects, and get paid—no experience or degree required.
Your Responsibilities
Each project begins with a pre-approved nonfiction topic, based on Amazon’s keyword trends and buyer demand. You’ll receive the topic brief, a chapter outline, keywords, and swipe templates. From there, you’ll use an integrated AI assistant to generate the book’s content—chapter by chapter—using structured prompt flows. You won’t be creating this content manually. Your job is to guide the AI output, review the chapters, remove redundancies, and make the copy flow naturally.
Once the draft is polished, you’ll format it using Kindle-compliant templates. This includes inserting front matter, back matter, page breaks, and chapter headings—ensuring everything reads clearly on Kindle devices and mobile screens.
Next, you’ll put your attention on metadata and copy optimization. You’ll use provided templates to build:
SEO-optimized book titles
High-converting subtitles
Keyword-rich product descriptions
Backend keyword entries and category tags
You’re not expected to be a copywriting expert. The system gives you tested frameworks that are already optimized for conversion on Amazon. Your task is to follow the format, personalize it for your project, and submit.
Finally, you’ll upload the manuscript and listing to Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), walk through the final publishing checklist, and log the project for payout.
What Makes This Different from Typical Copywriting Roles
Freelance copywriting jobs often come with vague expectations and steep learning curves. You might spend days writing a sales page, only to be told to “make it pop” or “try something new.” Revisions pile up. Clients ghost. And because copywriting is subjective, beginners often struggle to get traction.
This opportunity removes all of that. There’s no creative guessing. No advertising. No sales pitches. You’re not writing ad copy. You’re formatting nonfiction books, generating content with AI, and using plug-and-play copy templates that have already been tested to work.
And unlike freelance gigs where you have to market yourself or win jobs, here you’ll receive projects directly through your publishing dashboard.
Who This Role is Ideal For
Absolute beginners who want to learn remote publishing and earn as they go
People curious about copywriting but overwhelmed by creative pressure
Writers looking for structure, templates, and predictable systems
Side hustlers or stay-at-home professionals who want location freedom
Career changers exploring digital income with real-world output
You don’t need to “be a writer.” You don’t need to be good at selling. You just need to follow a process, complete tasks, and stay organized.
Your Weekly Workflow Could Look Like This
Let’s say your assignment is a new project titled “The Everyday Productivity Playbook.” The publishing team provides the topic, outline, and keywords. On Monday, you generate the chapters using the AI tool. You scan the output, tidy the text, format the document using the Kindle template, and create a table of contents.
Tuesday, you apply metadata: you select the title and subtitle using tested swipe files, craft the description using the provided framework, and choose backend keywords from the keyword list.
Wednesday, you upload the content and listing to Amazon KDP, finalize your project checklist, and mark the task as complete. Your payment is now pending.
You work on your schedule—one book per week, two per month, or as often as you like.
