This role involves managing the planning, implementation, and closeout of various cybersecurity projects aimed at improving government cybersecurity practices within a state and local government context. The Project Manager will oversee medium-complexity projects, ensuring timely and budget-adherent delivery. This includes managing daily activities, tracking progress and budget, resolving issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The position requires adherence to federal grant compliance documentation procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Managing medium-complexity cybersecurity projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Managing day-to-day project activities, including task assignments, progress tracking, budget tracking, and issue resolution.
- Monitoring project progress, anticipating and identifying potential risks or delays, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across state and local government and third-party suppliers.
- Developing, organizing, and maintaining project documentation, including documentation required for federal grant compliance.
- Performing other State and Locality Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLGCP) related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Strong organizational skills (5+ years of experience) with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (5+ years of experience).
- Active PMP certification from PMI.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- 10+ years of experience leading cybersecurity projects.
- Experience with state and/or federal government IT procurement requirements and procurement laws and processes related to project management.
- 3+ years of experience managing grant-funded projects (federal, state, or non-profit).
- 5+ years of proven working experience in project management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (5+ years of experience).
- Experience with PlanView AgilePlace.
Special Considerations:
- Four days per week onsite are required.
